L5 Laundry Liquid

L5 Laundry Liquid is suitable for…

• Colours and whites (follow care instructions)
• Hot and cold water washing
• Machine and hand washing
• Front and top loading machines

1. Laundry washing
Home (5-10kg full load): For light to medium soiling use 1⁄3 cup or 80ml per load. For heavy soiling use 1⁄2 cup or 120ml per load.
Hand washing: Use 1⁄8 cup or 30ml of L5 Laundry Liquid per 5 litres of water.
Commercial (20kg+ full load): For light to medium soiling use 1 cup or 240ml of L5 laundry Liquid. For heavy soiling use 1 1⁄2 cups or 360ml.

2. Stain pre-treater
Pour or spray undiluted L5 laundry Liquid onto the stains then rub. Wait 5-10 minutes then wash as normal.

3. Pre-soak in a bucket or tub
Normal use: Add 1⁄4 cup or 60ml of L5 Laundry Liquid to every 5 litres of water.
Heavy duty use: Add up to 1⁄2 cup or 120ml to every 5 litres of water.

Box opening instructions
(Do not use any sharp objects to open)

1. Lay the box on its side with the perforated/dotted opening facing up.
2. Pop out the little round bit from the dotted flap and then lift along the perforated lines.
3. Locate the tap, then gently pull it through the dotted flap and slide it into the hole.
4. Push the flap down behind the tap’s neck to lock it into place.
5. Ready to pour? Stand the box up and press that tap.

L5 does not contain SLS, SLES or any ingredient listed in the ‘Naughty 9’ or the ‘Nasty Ingredient Library’.

• Always read and follow garment washing instructions.

• Better wash results are obtained with warm to hot water especially on greasy and oily stains. Warmer wash water can also speed up drying times.

• Wash colours separately.

• Blood-stained items should be rinsed with cold water before pre-soaking with L5 Laundry Liquid. It’s best to soak for about 4 hours or overnight if required.

• L5 Laundry Liquid is highly recommended on cotton, poly-cotton, polyester and wool. It’s safe to use on colours.

• The quantity of L5 Laundry Liquid required will vary depending on the nature and degree of soiling, as well as the wash temperature.

• Do not use on non-colourfast dyed fabrics. If in doubt, test the colour fastness of garments before use.

Can I add a few drops of my favourite essential oil to the laundry liquid if I want a scented wash?

Yes. Please don’t add the essential oil directly to the refillable bottle. It’s best just to add a couple of drops to the liquid you are adding into your washing machine.
